Meeting people where they are at is the starting point for building Communities of Hope. Here you will find the various groups that meet in the different churches in the Team Ministry.
Schools Work - across the whole Team Ministry
Our work with many of the 10 Primary Schools in the Team ministry Area is extensive and largely facilitated through the work of Sue Whitehouse our Community Minister - Schools Worker. Teams of volunteers take 'Open the Book' into the schools on a frequent basis. Sue and members of the clergy regularly lead acts of worship in the schools and lead church services for children and parents and carers.
Several members of the different congregations stand as Governors in the Church-linked schools.
If you would like to help by volunteering in a variety of ways do get in touch with the Parish Office on 01889 574157

When we think about it, whenever the big stuff happens in life, like when we fall in love, when we become fathers, when we get married, when a loved one dies, or when we suffer unexpected set backs, something stirs deep within us and we struggle for the words; questions arise, hope, expectations, meaning and purpose stir within us, but we rarely find the time to figure things out. Well the good news is that this is all very normal, the things that are stirring are related to our spirituality.
Adam’s Return is a group set up to help us men to explore this stuff. This is not a group for talking about “religion”; it’s a group seeking to make sense of life. Here's the Programme for rest of 2018:
